Decorating the house for Christmas can be an opportunity to adopt a plant. In particular, I have a Goldcrest cypress that recalls the traditional Christmas tree. It has a light green and vibrant color, with soft-touch ramifications that give off a scent of cedar or lemon.
We cannot ignore the fact that the plant reigning in this period is the euphorbia pulcherrima or as we all know it, the “stella di Natale”(Christmas star)! Plant that has Mexican origins, and therefore does not like low temperatures; it is typically photoperiodic, it needs a lot of light to grow vigorously and at least 15/16 hours of darkness a day for good flowering.
